Abusive. Created culture of scapegoating players. Was unhinged in mood swings. Would send drunk emails, berate players on the field, schedule punishment runs immediately after games forbade players to see or communicate with family, threw water cups at players and overall air of intimidation while playing favorites with star players- all of which the university was aware of (with many parents and players complaining) but as he had won national championships and was athletic director was overlooked. The history is still overlooked and he was inducted into hall of fame. Overall awful. While a smart lacrosse tactition, was an awful person and sent many players into therapy.
