By far the worst coach I have had throughout my entire soccer career. He came off as a nice, caring individual but then as I got to know him, I realized he was completely the opposite and it was just a front. He gossiped with players on the team about other players, insulted and was demeaning to me in many instances. Made me question my own sanity because of the lies and his manipulation tactics. I am also not someone who did not play, I started and got a good amount of minutes so this is not just coming from being angry that I was not playing. Not to mention, he has no idea what he’s talking about when it comes to the game of soccer. Ugliest style of soccer any college coach can promote their team to play. Basically kick and run and then defend for the whole game. Practices consisted of 11v0 passing patterns for more than hours at a time. Unable to develop players or give insight to improve their game. Plays massive favorites and pins players against each other. There was an instance where one of teammates was put in a vulnerable situation talking to someone she thought was a “therapist” our academic advisor had made her go to. Turns out that “therapist” told jason what my teammate and her had discussed and used it against her. There are countless other examples of this behavior that I wish I could share on here.
