Transformational coach. Consistently out coaches all peers in his part of the country with recruits that are not as good. Has a very sophisticated structure to the way he builds the all court game plan. Excellent life mentor. Cares about players. All great coaches are chameleons and Dean has demonstrates abiliry to adapt to constantly changing player groups and bring our the best in his players over multiple generations. Has won numerous AAC, CUSA titles and propelled a team to a Sweet 16 that really had no business being there on paper. Zero ego, fanfare, just quietly goes about his business. If a real player joined that program he could create pros. One of his former players was in main draw of a WTA event last week. They have a 20 million dollar facility, everything you need to develop as a player/human. Most underrated program in America.
