As the levels of parity in NCAA women's basketball continue to rise to historic levels, one of the pioneers behind the rise of mid-major programs is Quinnipiac University women's head basketball coach Tricia Fabbri. Fabbri is entering her 25th season at the helm for the Bobcats, and her 433 victories are by far the most in program history. With Fabbri in charge, Quinnipiac reached its first-ever NCAA Tournament in 2013, and they've kicked it into extra gear since joining the MAAC the following year. Since their entrance into the MAAC, Fabbri's Bobcats have compiled a 97-13 conference record, with a 52-game conference win streak. In 2017, Fabbri led Quinnipiac to an unprecedented Sweet Sixteen run in the NCAA Tournament, as she scored upsets over 5th-seeded Marquette and 4th-seeded Miami in the Big Dance. Fabbri gives advice to high school athletes on the recruiting process as well as how she helps out her players in all aspects of life.
