This workshop series will help the next generation of female collegiate athletes by giving them the information they need to overcome challenges faced with a "female mindset". Female Footballers and LRT Sports will also dive into how this mindset affects the college recruiting process and how these female footballers should best prepare mentally and physically for the next level. Most importantly, we are trying to find ourselves as individuals, beyond our sport.
The mental health of an athlete plays a vital role in how an athlete performs and is a topic worth discussing. The transition from high school to college and the high standards that are expected from you get magnified both physically and mentally. What if you can't handle that? The workshop series will focus on different skills such as confidence, communication, social anxiety, post-injury depression, growth mindset, grit, body image, and much more.
Historically Black Colleges & Universities’ Coaches Educate Upcoming Student-Athletes. An inclusive Q&A representing both Men and Women's athletic programs that aims to shine a light on the countless opportunities that are provided both academically and athletically at HBCU institutions.
