The University of North Texas Athletic Center is a whopping 45,000-square-foot facility. It is in the heart of the  Mean Green Village, which houses the education, strength, conditioning, and medical treatment facilities. You will also find the administration of the North Texas Athletic Department.

The Athletic Center opened in 2005 which includes a dining hall, and practice and game facilities for football, golf, soccer, softball, tennis, volleyball, track & field and cross country programs. In the Super Pit area, you will find the men's and women's basketball's facilities, and the swimming and diving located at the Pohl Recreation Center and PEB Natatorium.

The Mean Green Village received a significant uplift which shows how dedicated they are to their men's and women's athletics.
