Dr. is the Women's Head Coach since 2014. He has just completed his sixth as head coach for the Wolverines. In his six years coaching, his record is 143-56, and he has led his teams to four straight years of being Champions and four consecutive years of NCAA appearances, with a Top 4 finish in his 2017 season. The year of his Top 4 finish in 2017, his team finished with a season record of 28-9 overall. He has earned two Doc Hunkler Coach of the CWPA Tournament awards in 2016 and 2017. is a respected coach both in the USA Water Polo world as well as in the Michigan Wolverines . “He is also my head coach and someone who has helped guide me through my water polo experience the past seven-year of my life.”
