The University of Rochester has 23 varsity teams that compete in both the Liberty League and University Athletic Association at the NCAA Division III level. If you were wondering what their athletic facilities look like well look no further. For those who can not make it out to see the facilities, we are going to bring them to you.
You will be looking at the facilities through the eyes of two athletes. Both Brendan O'Shea and Cole Sonnet play basketball for the school, and they will be showing us some historic buildings as well as some newly renovated fields. You will take a look into the Robert B. Goergen Athletic Center where it underwent some extensive renovations. This center houses all the university's indoor athletic facilities.
You will also visit the historic Louis A. Alexander Palestra where the basketball and volleyball athletes play their games. The Speegle Aquatic Center where the yellowjackets swim and dive and the Blotch fitness center where they have a Knowledgeable and enthusiastic student staff and Over 50 pieces of cardio equipment and much more. Brendan and Cole will also show us around Brian F. Prince Athletic Complex, which includes Fauver Stadium, North Field, Towers Field, and the Boehning Varsity House. Hope you enjoy the tour of these beautiful facilities.
