Are you trying to find schools, but don't know where to start? Let's look at the map!
When I was applying to college back in 2012, I used a link to find the athletic websites for all NCAA Division I, II, III schools. Since then, this tool has been converted into an interactive and holistic map of all the NCAA members by division and location.
How is this helpful? Well, it helps you narrow down your search. The first thing that you need to ask yourself is, what are your goals/objectives when applying for college. Are you filtering by division? Do you want to be far away, or close to home? Do you want to be on the east coast or west coast?

When I did it, my only filter was: “I want to play NCAA Division I.” So that is what I did: I went to the NCAA Division I member links, and built a spreadsheet with email addresses of DI head coaches and assistant coaches to start contacting.
Now that you know some of your filters, let's get down to business. You can find schools you are interested in, their contact information, and their athletics information all on the interactive map. Take it a step further and find the coaches' contact information on the athletics website.
This can be a great start to your journey toward finding your dream school, as it helps you introduce yourself to coaches.
GOOD LUCK! Let us know on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook if this helped.
