The Babson College Women's team has been coached by Head Coach Judy Blinstrub for 34 years. During her time at , has coached basketball and soccer and collected her 600th victory in basketball last February, making her the only coach in the history of Division III women's sports with 500 wins in basketball and 200 wins in soccer.

Blinstrub has posted an impressive 605-294 (.673) record over 33 seasons in basketball, has seen 10 appearances in the NCAA Tournament, and has won conference Coach of the Year six times and District I and New England Coach of the Year twice. Blinstrub was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2011.

2aDays: What is the most important quality you look for in a recruit?

Good character someone that is respectful, honest, driven, and has a team-first attitude.

2aDays: What is the best way for a recruit to get on your radar?

Contact my staff directly and give information about interest in the future.

2aDays: When should an athlete contact you, what is the best way? 

Start of the junior year. I like email than follow up with a phone call.

2aDays: What are your expectations for incoming players in the classroom, in the weight room, and on the court?

To have solid grades, be a good student, and a leader in the community. Follow the program sent to them during the summer in strength and conditioning. improve your skills during the offseason.

2aDays: What are the do's and don'ts of being recruited?

Do your homework about the college and the program. Don't make your decisions on scholarship . See the statistics on how many players make it in D1 &2.

2aDays: What is the best advice you can offer a recruit?

Make your decision on because you are one injury away from being a regular student.

2aDays: What really jumps out to you when reviewing a recruit's highlight tape?

Court sense and fundamentals.

2aDays: What are the main do's and don'ts for a recruit's highlight tape?

Show your entire skillset, don't highlight just offense.

2aDays: When do you recommend recruits put together and share their highlight reels? Is it best to make their highlight reel during the offseason, in the middle of the , or after each game?

End of season.

2aDays: What advice do you have for recruits who get turned down by their dream schools? What are their options if they don't gain the recruiting attention they desire?

Everything happens for a reason. Be proactive and visit schools.

2aDays: How big a factor is when recruiting players? What advice do you have for athletes regarding social media?

Be careful of what you share on social media. Once there, it's always there.
