I played for Rod Carey. Right when Rod took over at NIU, the vibe of the team slowly declined from there. Rod lies to walk-ons about scholarships and absolutely NO ONE on the team wants to play for him. He had his favorite 5 players, then he treats other players/GAs/coaches like shit. He's a liar and I hope he is on his way out.

I played for Rod Carey. Right when Rod took over at NIU, the vibe of the team slowly declined from there. Coach Carey was a pretty great coach overall. I did not have much interaction with him, but when we did, it was mainly positive, but now always. With that being said, I am aware that we will not always have positive interactions with everyone in our lives. That is okay! Life goes on.
