Not knowledgeable in general, only know how to coach doubles. That he does very well. But every other aspect of a coach that you would seek, he does not embody. He is dishonest, manipulative, and treats his adult players like children. Thus, Skidmore tennis feels like an after-school program you are forced to show up to. Talented guys,soitsashame.

Not knowledgeable in general, only know how to coach doubles. That he does very well. But every other aspect of a coach that you would seek, he does not embody. Would never recommend anyone to come play for Coach Simms. He's dishonest, holds grudges, not sincere, nor does he put his players above himself. He's a great doubles and return coach, but does not know the fundamentals of anything else. I regret playing for Coach Simms and hope people don't make the same mistake.

Would never recommend anyone to come play for Coach Simms. He's dishonest, holds grudges, not sincere, nor does he put his players above himself. Coach Simms is not knowledgeable about tennis, plays strong favorites with a select one or two people each season, and if you do not tend to relate to his personal non-tennis related beliefs, you are a social outcast to him.
