Save to my locker

Can you see yourself being coached by Coach Lamont Paris? After listening to his interview, We are thinking that your answer will be yes. Paris will explain what coachability means to him, game tape vs. AAU tape, prospects, and how athletes respond during games. He will also talk about those players who are a diamond in the rough.

Coach Lamont Paris has been the head coach of the men’s basketball team at University of Tennessee at Chattanooga since 2017 after seven seasons at Wisconsin. In his first four seasons in Chattanooga, Coach Paris has won 60 games, finishing fourth in the conference standings at the end of the 2020-21 season. While serving as an assistant coach for the Badgers, Paris made multiple Sweet 16 appearances and multiple Final Four appearances. He has also had coaching stops at the University of Akron, Depauw University, and the College of Wooster. He has recruited NBA players such as Frank Kaminsky, Sam Dekker, Nigel Hayes, and Bronson Koenig.

Originally from Findlay, Ohio, Paris played college basketball at the College of Wooster and was named MVP during his senior season. This class act coach is currently a member of the National Association of Basketball Coaches and the Black Coaches Association and was also selected to the “Achieving Coaching Excellence” program in 2007.
