Jacksonville Jaguars, Joe Giles-Harris, Passes Along some Advice to Athletes

Joe Giles-Harris is a football linebacker for the Jacksonville Jaguars (NFL). Harris played college football for Duke. During Joe’s time with the Blue Devils, he racked up 313 total career tackles along with nine and a half sacks, one forced fumble, two interceptions, and one fumble recovery. Joe talked to LRT Sports about why he chose Duke and what it takes to make a successful captain.

2016-17-18: Three-year letterman 

2018: Team captain 

2017: Recipient of the program’s Carmen Falcone MVP award as Duke’s most outstanding player 

Three-time recipient of the team’s Vincent Rey Award as the team’s top linebacker

2016: – HM, 2017-18: Three-time All-ACC honoree 

Duke’s first linebacker with two first-team All-ACC honors since Mike Junkin in 1985 and 1986 

2017: All-America selection by the Walter Camp Foundation 

Three-time ACC Linebacker of the Week 

The fifth player in Blue Devil history to amass 300+ tackles and 30.0+ TFL
