Omar El Kheshen's first season as the assistant coach (2019-2020) was canceled by the Ivy League and Harvard due to COVID-19. But not before securing a 7-2 record. This also included a singles mark of 80-34 and doubles record of 44-18.
El Kheshen was successful as associate head men's and women's tennis coach at Southwest Baptist University. He helped the men's team advance to the Elite 8 and helped the women's team earn a berth in the NCAA regional championship.
