Being a student is hard; add on being an athlete, and time management becomes a whole new game. So, we’ve put together recipes that are quick, easy, and nutritious for hard-working athletes. This week features an unusual smooth: Kale, Apple, and Carrot.
1 cup packed kale (stemmed and coarsely chopped)
1 green apple (cored and coarsely chopped)
1 medium carrot (peeled and coarsely chopped)
Juice from ½ lime
1 ½ cups coconut water
4 ice cubes
Combine all ingredients into a blender. Blend until smooth. Enjoy!
